MSI Specialist Provision

Overview

Our MSI specialist provision is a regional resource, serving five local authorities. Students in the unit are deafblind, often with additional physical, sensory, medical and/or learning disabilities. As a regional resource, we work hard to provide a specialist curriculum tailored for our students with unique sensory and learning needs. 

 

All students follow a specialist curriculum for deafblind learners, which has it's foundation from the Victoria MSI Curriculum created by Dr Heather Murdoch (2009). The curriculum helps students understand, learn and interact with people and the world around them.
