Transition Information

Transition Advice-

Transitions from Victoria School are supported through the Education, Health and Care plan annual review. From year 9 we use the 'Preparation for Adulthood' framework to support positive planning for the future. Students and their families receive external support from Dave Hooley our independent careers advisor.

We hold an annual transition event where students and their families are invited to attend to meet a range of providers for post 16 and 19 placements. These include specialist colleges, mainstream colleges, providers of supported internships, social care settings and services from 'The Local Offer'. This year’s event will be held on the 11th March from 10am at Victoria School.
