The Green Forest

The Green Forest: Greenspaces Phase 4

 

The Green Forest area was completed in November 2015, giving pupils safe wheelchair access to woodland at the back of school.

 

Pupils will learn through 'hands-on' experiences whilst working on the 'Forest Schools' Curriculum, including activities such as fire lighting, woodcraft, foraging, and shelter building.

 

The Forests area completes the outdoor Greenspaces development, complementing the other areas which are designed for inclusive outdoor play, horticulture, mobility, and health and wellbeing.
