Wheelchair Sculpture Trail

The wheelchair pathways and terraces were completed in September 2013, with the addition of a rock water feature and some new sculptures and living willow works along the pathways; The three Poppy Head Sculptures (by artist David Watkinson) were added in November 2013.

The living Willow maze and hedge around the bubbling rock water feature was installed in February 2014 by Steph and Paul Simmons, willow artists.

The ‘Alium’ sculpture by Jenny Pickford was installed in April 2015.

During the Spring Term Topic 2014, ‘Australasia’ pupils worked with artist Jim Morris to make an outdoor ‘Surf’ scene mural. During Spring Term 2015 topic ‘Africa’ pupils worked with Jim to make large outdoor African masks which are installed along the fence line.

Pupils have decorated some rocks with mosaic, to surround the water feature.
