Ofsted Inspection Information

We were most recently inspected by Ofsted in March 2017 and were judged to be outstanding in all areas. This built on our previous inspection in October 2012, in which we were also graded as outstanding.

Here are a few highlights from our report:

• Pupils benefit from outstanding teaching which allows them to make rapid progress across the curriculum.
• Teaching is effective because staff plan carefully to meet needs of individual pupils.
• All pupils make rapid progress from their starting points.
• Pupils are well supported to gain essential life skills.
• Pupils thrive in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
• Positive behaviour is actively promoted by staff.
• Pupils believe that they are treated fairly.
• Parents are extremely supportive of the school.
• Governance is strong.
• Safeguarding is effective.
• Leadership at all levels is strong
• Leaders and Governors have maintained the outstanding quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
