Medical Teams

Within the school we have a designated medical facility. This is a well equipped spacious area of the school providing a base and work area for the medical staff.

 

All of the medical staff are employed by the Health Authority but are an integral part of the Victoria School Team.

 

The Medical Centre provides bases for our teams of Nurses, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists. There are also facilities used by our School Medical Officer and any visiting consultants. This means that our children can receive their treatment and support without making time-consuming visits to local hospitals.

 

The relationship between all of the medical staff and our teachers and teaching assistants is very important. They work very well together contributing to the all-round care and education of our children and young people.
