Friends of Victoria

Friends of Victoria is a registered charity which began as a Parent/Staff Association around 40 years ago. It has gone on to raise many thousands of pounds for vital equipment and resources for the school, from our first Adventure Playground, to hoists, to communication aids, the snoezelen room and complete makeovers for Soft Play and the hydrotherapy pool.

Friends of Victoria also supports a wide range of activities for pupils including Royal Wedding celebrations and Christmas parties. Friends has supported several visits to see Mickey Mouse in Florida.

We are also concerned with welfare matters and have lobbied effectively for better post school provision

Friends of Victoria organise and run several events each year including a Summer Fair and a Santa Special. In the past we have also run Car Boot Sales and Table Top Sales.

We meet at least 5 times a year and our AGM is held in November.

We are always looking for new members to join our group and also to give us new ideas for fundraising.

We are a member of Parentkind the association supporting School Charities.
