We’re pleased to invite the school community to the Summer Fair (organised by Friends of Victoria) on Saturday 20th June 2026, starting at 12:00pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!
We are really excited to be implementing this Primary Curriculum within school and have already seen a positive impact for our students, including increased acceptance, confidence and enjoyment when exploring different foods and textures. We are now looking forward to becoming part of the Secondary Curriculum pilot.
If you would like any further information, please do get in touch with the Feeding Trust directly. In the future, we would also like to organise a coffee morning to provide an opportunity for families to meet with them and discuss food and eating differences and difficulties in more detail.
Dear families,
We can now confirm the term dates for the next 2 academic years - 2026 to 2027 and 2027 to 2028.
These can be found on the school website:
They include the holidays (blue), bank holidays (red) and training days (green) - when the school is closed. Please ensure that you keep a record of these for future reference.
Many thanks

Dear families, I thought it might be helpful to remind parent/carers of the procedure for students returning to school after an operation or extended period of absence. The purpose of this is to establish all or any changing needs to physical and/or medical needs that may have arisen following the absence. It’s also a good opportunity for us to review whether we can further support you and your child when returning. The procedure is as follows: • Families will be invited to a meeting in school or over teams; this will be parental choice. • Physios, nurses and class staff will be present or represented, as well as a member from the pastoral team. We will consider all support available and it may be necessary to introduce a phased return plan, to support attendance on site. We ask that you bring any paperwork from the hospital with you, so the relevant professionals can access the details and update their own records. Transport will be reinstated after the meeting and all procedures have been established. This process ensures safe practice in school and will create the best transition for students on their return. If you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact the pastoral team.
Many thanks

Dear families,
As a school we have been developing our approach to ensure we meet the Trauma Informed and Attachment Aware Schools approach. This has included training for staff, the introduction of new approaches to behaviour and rewards, that it is line with current research, and ensuring that the excellent relationships we see between school staff, pupils and families is celebrated.
As part of gaining the award for the great work both students and staff have completed, the Educational Psychology Service has asked for your input. Could you please follow the link below and complete the form with your valuable insights as parents.
Thank you for your continuing support of the school.

Dear families,
We have been asked by Public Health to share the following information with you:
With the current measles outbreak, we want to make sure all children stay safe. Measles can spread quickly, especially among children who haven’t had the MMR vaccine. We understand that some families may have personal reasons for choosing not to vaccinate their child against the measles virus. Our role is not to judge, but to support every family with clear, trusted information.
The MMR vaccine is safe and does not cause autism
It is suitable for all faiths and cultures – a pork-free version is available
It’s free and available at all GP practices
Please stay alert for symptoms and follow any public health advice. You can find more information here:
You can also find a 2 sided easy to read guidance sheet here: Guidance Document
Thank you for helping us keep all children in Birmingham safe and healthy.

Dear families and wider community,
Please see below the link to a letter, sharing the exciting project and updates to the Soft Play room - which is being funded using the very generous charity donations from the GoFundMe account following the flood.
Many thanks
