Dear families,
Please see below a link to the Developing Local Provision (DLP) newsletter from Birmingham. This is a project run by the SEND improvement team and the newsletter offers a broad overview of the work completed to date.
Developing Local Provision is a two-year project which aims to develop and improve provision, progress and outcomes for children and young people with additional needs or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in mainstream schools across Birmingham. The project is producing encouraging results.
The newsletter is also available on the SEND Local Offer website, with a text only version available for accessibility here:

We are saddened at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family and are grateful for her dedication and service. May her influence and impact be long lasting.
We have now entered a period of national mourning that will continue until the end of the State Funeral. Schools and Further Education settings will remain open during this time. Once details of the funeral are confirmed by the Royal Household, we will write to you with further guidance and information.
We have been talking to our students about the death of Queen Elizabeth II and can offer support to anyone who needs it in school.
Out of a mark of respect during this mourning period, we have lowered the flag outside of school to half mast and will temporarily pause all social media content from school (on Twitter). All urgent communications during this time will continue.
Many thanks
Gary Coffey
