Gold Award - School Games 2022/2023
Thu 27 Jul 2023We are delighted to confirm that we have achieved GOLD in the School Games Mark!
It recognises our commitment and engagement in the School Games programme for the 2022/23 academic year. We would like to say a huge well done and thank you to Helen Schneider (PE Lead) who has worked hard to collate all of the evidence. It's a real testament to the exciting planning and lesson delivery for our students and recognises the range of opportunities that they're entitled to at school.

Sponsored Library Walk 2023 - News Article and Photos

You can now read a news article that has been written by B31 Voices (local group) all about the sponsored walk on Saturday 10th June 2023:
There are lots of great photos from the visits to the library and the walk itself (all in glorious and very hot sunshine).
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who attended and to those of you who have made a donation as well. We are looking forward to carefully planning how to best use the funds raised so far.

Early Years - Dodford Residential 2023
Thu 25 May 2023Our Early Years group had a great 2 night sleepover at Dodford Children's Farm (Bromsgrove) this week.
They explored the farm, enjoyed an outdoor swim and had a great time playing together. We want to say a huge thank you to the School staff who attended for supporting and thank you to the team at Dodford, who made us feel so welcome.

South & City College (Hall Green Campus), Cole Bank Road, Birmingham, B28 8ES.

Celebrating the Coronation - 05.05.23
Fri 05 May 2023King Charles III Coronation Celebrations
We had a right 'royal' time celebrating the upcoming Coronation for King Charles III.
Our students enjoyed an indoor street party and had great food and music and took part in lots of exciting activities in the afternoon! There were lots of beautifully decorated crowns for the event too.
Friends of Victoria also presented every student with a commemorative medal to remember the event 🥳👑
Thank you to FOVS for supplying the medals and paying towards the cost of the celebrations and events!

Raising Funds for Accessible Library
Tue 25 Apr 2023We're raising funds for a library refurb!
We want to create the best environment to foster & grow our students' love of reading. A Go Fund Me donation page with details can be found here:
On June 10th 2023, we will be taking part in a walk around the local libraries in South Birmingham (contact us for more information if you want to join) and would welcome any and all donations that can be made. The funds will be used to completely transform our existing library.
