  • Continuation of COVID-safe precautions

Tue 15 Jun 2021 Julie Fardell

With the Prime Minister's recent announcement that there will be  a further 4 week delay until COVID restrictions are eased further, we will continue to wear face coverings when moving through the public areas of the school, social distancing as much as possible and observing hand and respiratory hygiene. We will continue with our enhanced cleaning schedule.

It is timely to remind everyone that no-one can attend school if they or someone in their household has COVID symptoms or has tested positive to COVID, or if they have been in close contact with someone who is COVID-positive.

If your child is in our secondary department, please continue to provide them with a face covering to wear at school (if they are able to tolerate it), and continue with the twice weekly rapid-result lateral flow COVID testing.

Thank you for your cooperation with these precautions. Although unpleasant, they are a small sacrifice to keep everyone n our school population safe.

The government is also now considering offering vaccinations to children. I will pass on any information about this as it comes to hand.

    Best wishes
    Julie Fardell
    Executive Head Teacher
