Recorded concerts and music sessions for children and young people.
Suitable for use in schools and at home.
Welcome to our new online library of videos for schools and families. Below you will find a range of performances and inclusive musical activities devised by LMN musicians, inspired by their visits to special schools across the UK. The videos are designed to be accessible for children and young people with additional learning needs. They all provide opportunities to join in and learn new things about music. This library is a new area of work for us, so if you have feedback or ideas, please let us know by emailing: karen.irwin@livemusicnow.org.uk

Hi Everyone!
Hope you’re doing ok at home!
Next week should have been our sports week including sports day so I thought we would do a lockdown version of sports day.
There are 11 challenges and an introduction video – have a watch
and pick the ones you want to do! Each video has options and uses
household objects. Make sure you challenge yourself, practice and
keep trying at an activity!
The videos can be found here,

If you have a go at any of them, let me know by emailing
h.schneider@victoria.bham.sch.uk
and I will send medals and certificates to say you’ve completed
lockdown sports day 2020!
Stay safe and see you soon, I miss you!

A new survey has been launched this month aimed at Birmingham-based parents/carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The short survey, which takes around 10-15 minutes to complete, captures feedback from families about their experience of the Birmingham SEND service, including views on the support provided by the service during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To take the survey please click here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/P5VPQ5J - The survey will close on 15th July 2020. Please circulate the link to the survey across your networks (thank you).
Feedback from families about their experience of the Birmingham SEND service will help Birmingham Children’s Partnership agencies (including Birmingham City Council, NHS Birmingham and Solihull CCG, Birmingham Children’s Trust and Birmingham Community Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust) to understand what is working well and where there is room for improvement.
If you would like further information about this survey please contact lauren.amery@nhs.net
Cauldwell Children are offering a free online resource.
The ASDAN LifeSkills program provides learners with a wide-range of exciting challenges.
The challenges promote a variety of different skills and cover a wide range of different topics – they are usually about being able to do things and they can all be adapted to meet the individual needs of the children. More information can be found here:
